•Born and raised in Ireland, ENYA was originally a member of the hugely successful Irish Band Clannad, which was comprised of her older brothers and sisters.
•“WATERMARK”, her second solo album, released in 1988, sold 8 million copies worldwide and established ENYA as an international star. It featured the international single hit “Orinico Flow”.
•Her follow-up album, “SHEPHERDS MOON, released in 1991, sold over 10 million copies worldwide, and earned ENYA her first Grammy Award for Best New Age Album. “Caribbean Blue” was the featured single on the album.
•ENYA spent 4 years working her next album “MEMORY OF TREES”, which was released in late 1995. The album sold over 2 million copies in it’s first year of release in the U.S. It also resulted in her second Grammy win for Best New Age Album.
•In 2000, ENYA released her next album of new material-“A DAY WITHOUT RAIN”. The album contained a number one AC Billboard hit, “Only Time”, which also became an anthem of tragedy and loss due to the events of 9/11. The album resulted in ENYA’S third Grammy award win.
