Tony Hadley, best known as the lead singer with Spandau Ballet, has been touring for the last couple of years with a Big Band which led to his recording a series of classic swing songs. As we all know, Tony has a superb, powerful, but smooth voice which lends itself perfectly to this genre.
Jamie Cullum’s first album released on Candid Records had a series of classic American songs, that, although given Jamie’s unique jazz treatment, still had a definite swing feel to them. We therefore decided to combine these 7 tracks with 7 tracks from the maestro himself, Frank Sinatra. .
