The Peter Jacques Band - Greatest Hits & Essential tracks

The Peter Jacques Band is considered one of the pioneers of the Italian Disco produced music in the U.S. and Europe. Formed in 1978 by Jacques Fred Petrus (the band is his name in reverse).

Their first album “Fire Night Dance”, released in 1979, produced the single  “Walking on Music” and brought the band recognition, but it was their second album “Welcome Back” released in 1981 that established them as serious players on the dance scene.
Several 12 inches were released from the album including “One, two, three (counting on Love)

The BB&Q Band , which stands for the Brooklyn, Bronx and Queens Band, were a U.S. Soul/R&B formed in 1981 by the extremely successful production partnership of Jacques Fred Petrus and Mauro Malavesi.

The Band were extremely successful particularly in dance clubs throughout Europe and the States. Their first album delivered the hit single “On the Beat” which charted internationally and reached the No. 8 spot on the U.S. Black charts
