This is an extremely enjoyable 2 CD bringing some of the finest talent to have emerged from the incredible Brazilian music scene over the last couple of decades.
The compilation focuses on both the new and old school bossa. The first disc a little more contemporary with an exciting ‘clubbish’ feel to it ending in a jazz atmosphere with tracks from Brazilian jazz giants such as Leo Gandelman and Marcos Valle.
The second CD is more traditional with classic tunes such as Desafinado, Aguas de Marco and Mas Que Nada brought to us in new and exciting versions. Other highlights include Chris Delano - “A Felicidade”, Gaudino da Costa - “Sambatucada” and J.L. presents Diego Polimeno - “Eu Son Feliz”.
