The Peter Jacques Band is considered one of the pioneers of the Italian Disco produced music in the U.S. and Europe. Formed in 1978 by Jacques Fred Petrus (the band is his name in reverse). Their first album “Fire Night Dance”, released in 1979, produced the single  “Walking on Music” and brought the band recognition, but it was their second album “Welcome Back” released in 1981 that established them as serious players on the dance scene. Several 12 inches were released from the album including “One, two, three (counting on Love)

The last album, "Dancing in the Street" also produced several extremely successful dance tracks including "Drives me Crazy', "Mexico" and "This Night" all released as 12 inch maxi's. This anthology includes all those tracks considered their Greatest Hits, Disco Mixes and remixes. The digipak also includes a 16 page booklet detailing the bands career.
